HoppyGo Mobility Platform: Our story
We have always been at the forefront of pioneering new mobility solutions at Škoda X. Our journey into developing an independent mobility platform began out of necessity. We initially relied on existing solutions from third-party providers for multiple projects, but we found that these always came with too many compromises. To truly innovate and meet the high standards we envisioned, we decided to create our own platform—one that would be flexible, scalable, and capable of supporting diverse mobility services.
The Evolution of Our Mobility Platform
Our first major project utilizing this new platform was Citymove, launched in 2019. Citymove is a multimodal transport app for Prague, integrating various forms of mobility into a single user-friendly application. Initially, it combined taxi services, carsharing, bikesharing, scootersharing, and public transportation, making urban travel more seamless and convenient than ever before.
Following the success of Citymove, we transitioned BeRider scootersharing onto our platform and kept improving the HoppyGo peer-to-peer carsharing. This allowed us to introduce innovative features, particularly with BeRider, where we implemented dynamic pricing based on demand, bonus zones, and bonus scooters to optimize availability and affordability. We also continuously improved our mobile applications, refining them to a level where they now serve as a robust, ready-to-deploy solution for any company looking to launch their own carsharing, bikesharing, or scootersharing service. With our whitelabel app solution, businesses can be up and running within just one month.
Expanding into Corporate and Automotive Mobility
Beyond consumer mobility, we extended our expertise into corporate mobility with KLIQ, an app designed for corporate carsharing and company vehicle bookings. This innovation streamlined fleet management, offering businesses a smarter and more efficient way to handle their transport needs.
Recognizing the maturity of our Mobility Platform, we eventually made it available to external clients, launching this website to showcase its capabilities. Today, we work closely with Škoda and other major automotive brands, offering solutions for test drives and car rentals. These services enhance customer experiences through online booking functionalities and a powerful backend that provides seamless service management.
